Cute Overload!

It’s official, while I enjoy my gadget blogs I think I’ve just stumbled upon the greatest blog of them all; Cute Overload!

Man or Woman, Straight or Gay, Green or Blue, it’s impossible to read about Emo Bun without involuntarily emitting an ‘awwwww.. CUTE!’ – I dare you.

Despite my best efforts at shortening my list of RSS subscriptions, this one has to join the news folder, Enjoy!

Yes, everything’s better with bacon and now Bacolicio.us brings that same bacony goodness to any website you care to choose. The usefulness of this website is questionable but when there’s bacon involved; what’s not to like!?

Getting Back to the Old Facebook

Personally I’ve been using the ‘new’ facebook site at www.new.facebook.com for the last couple of months; it’s taken a bit of getting used to but personally, now that I’m used to it I really rather like it. That aside there is a way to get back to the ‘old’ facebook now which I discovered via a group on the site, according to the group;

“EVERYONE THIS IS HOW U GO BACK:

http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2345053339

then click ‘add application’

then click

http://apps.new.facebook.com/?fbnew_opt_out=1

then log out and log back in and u should be fine”

I’ve tried following those instructions and it seemed to work for me, though there are comments on the group about facebook chat now not working for some users. Personally I’m going to stick with the ‘new’ facebook because I like it but for those who want to roll back the choice is there; woopie!

Face Your Manga

It’s the craze that’s been sweeping the internets over the last 24 hours (as far as I can tell) Face Your Manga is a new avatar creation website. It offers a high-resolution version for €1.50 or a low-resolution version for free. I’ve seen some good ones floating arround the web today, though there are some some very bad ones too which isn’t a suprise as the tool-set is rather limited. While restricted options will frustrate some people, for me half of the fun was doing the best I could with the tools I had was a fun challenge.

If you’ve made your own I’d love to see them; post your links in the comments!
